Dr Althea

Dr Althea graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in December 2023, and has been working in Canberra since graduation across general practice and emergency and critical care.

Her clinical interests include emergency medicine and feline medicine. She enjoys working through challenging cases, finding practical treatment options, and has a particular soft spot for cats.

Dr Althea is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and is happy to communicate with clients in any of these languages.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr Althea enjoys travelling, trying new food and spending time with her own pets — Ace the Cavoodle, Juju the Ragdoll and Pico the ginger cat. She also has an interest in public health, epidemiology and One Health, and is currently undertaking further study in public health.
